The Chaise 1600 by Argot Studio is part of a series of two chairs. The name of the collection is inspired by the Alpine ski resort Les Arcs designed by the architect Charlotte Perriand. It was made by a metalworker in Paris from stainless steel. With its resolutely minimalist futuristic architecture, it gives character to any room without compromising on simplicity.

Designers - Argot Studio
Argot Studio
Lasting through generations and transcending seasonality: that's the motto of Argot Studio. Founded by Irish designer Eimear Ryan in 2018 in Paris, Argot is a design studio that offers pieces with sinuous, poetic and thoughtful lines, 3D printed in the capital.
With a carpenter and craftsman father, Eimear naturally turned to craftsmanship as her career progressed. As she searches for affordable and durable high quality materials, she finds in her husband Jean-Eloi Rateau's 3D printer a gold mine of experimentation.
The process is innovative: a heated nozzle deposits successive layers of molten material. This progressive deposit of material ends up, after several hours of digital work, by forming a shape. All of this is done with bio-sourced material, made from corn or sugarcane starch.
From a former Schneider factory in Paris, Eimear Ryan imagines creations based on the exploration of spaces and the objects that are incorporated into them. She pays an aesthetic homage to the contrast between city and country, nature and design, technology and biomaterials.
