Lit or unlit, the Bon Bon suspension displays its mellow shades with unctuousness and singularity. It is a hand-blown glass creation designed by the Danish artist Helle Mardahl in her workshop in Copenhagen. It is there that the designer works with glass, its irregularities and roughness to create pieces inspired by the candy shops of her childhood. Her sweetened shades are exacerbated by irregular organic shapes that make them look like delicious sweets.

Helle Mardahl
Candy. This is what the creations of glass artist Helle Mardahl, a Danish name on everyone's lips, look like. From her studio in Copenhagen, the designer works with blown glass, its irregularities and asperities to create pieces that look so sweet we want to eat them. Her creative signature? Unreal curves and sweetened colors, inspired by the candy shops of her childhood. A dreamy and nostalgic creative inspiration influenced by personal memories but also by emblematic films like Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Helle has come full circle: as a child, dreaming of opening a candy shop.
