Everything starts with a shape, a color, and becomes art. Ceramicist Brigitte de Bazelaire transforms everyday objects into contemplative creations. From her utilitarian creations emanate organic forms, resolutely moving and alive as if suspended, surprised in full movement.Trained in ceramics at the Ateliers Savigny and then in a ceramics workshop in Majorca, in the Balearic Islands of Spain, Brigitte de Bazelaire has been expressing her creativity for more than 20 years by transforming everyday objects into art pieces glazed with vibrant colors.
By working with clay, she creates a real complicity with the material, which she models with her hands, and gives life to simple and sensual creations, an appeal to the sense of touch with their extreme delicacy. Her collections are aimed at aesthetes in search of exceptional savoir-faire, craftsmanship, aesthetics and art.
